Enjoy a Beautiful Beachfront Adobe Home

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home complete with a kitchen, living/dining room, front porch and plenty of property for volleyball or horseshoes. Walls are white plaster and floors are terra cotta tile. You simply can not get more privacy or get closer to the beach and the beautiful Caribbean Ocean than in this well maintained private home.

Bedrooms

3 Bedrooms (2 with king size beds) are as follows – 1st floor small private room. Very quiet with one king sized bed. Also has hammock if you prefer! Own bath directly across the hall with stand up shower. On the 2nd floor you will find 2 bedrooms that share one bath. The first one is a large master suite with views of the water and a back porch with views looking to the West. There are 2 twin beds in the room as well as a bunk bed and a pull out couch. The second room is smaller but with a king sized bed. Both are in excellent shape with terra cotta floors, ceiling fans and large screened windows. Linens and towels are in the house but feel free to bring your own as well.

Baths

Both bathrooms have terra cotta floors with a single sink, commode and stand up shower. The toilet in the downstairs bath has just been replaced and the septic recently pumped.

Kitchen

The kitchen has a new refrigerator, new stove, a sink with running well water and plenty of counter space. The house has glasses, silverware and plates to serve 10. There is a coffee maker, toaster, blender (of course!) as well as kitchen utensils and pots and pans – not a ton of them but enough to work with. (sometimes things disappear, which is unfortunate!  No blender on our last visit was a bummer.  We do our best to keep the house stocked) There are also cooking knives and plenty of cabinet space. The kitchen has a water dispenser and the homes caretaker can get you water delivered directly to the house. Air conditioning units were added to the kitchen/living room/dining room area and all bedrooms very recently. Coupled with the ceiling fan this keeps the area comfortable on warm evenings.  We request limiting the use of the AC units as electricity is very expensive and is actually generated on the island!

Living Room/Dining Room

The living room/dining room area has a nice wood table that seats 6-8 comfortably as well as a seating area with 4 chairs made by local craftsmen. There is also a matching couch and coffee table.

Front Porch

Like adding another room to the house, the front porch is where we spend so much of our time. The porch has beautiful views of both the beach and the sea. We have 2 plastic tables and many chairs that can be easily moved throughout the porch or house. There is also a hammock as well as a hammock swing for you to relax in. There is nothing better than a little siesta in the hammock following a day of fishing and a few cold cervesas like another room in the house, the front porch has beautiful views of the beach and the sea. Play cards, dominos or just enjoy the view from one of the house's crown jewels!

Beach Front Living

Walk 10 steps from your front door and you will be on your own private beach. We have 90 feet of beachfront down to the tranquil Gulf. The home has 4 new and very comfortable lounge chairs for either sitting in the sun on the property or down on the beach. Something to remember, don’t sit under a palm tree or a coconut might bonk you on the head! Walk the beach wither to the east and town or to the west toward the sparsely inhabited side of the island. See birds, collect amazing shells, watch the fishermen come and go to sea daily or just watch the world go by on this tropical paradise.

Fun For The Entire Family

Build sandcastles, walk the beach and go shelling, enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of the Mayan Riviera!

Iguana Houses

The home has an Iguana House with an occasional inhabitant. They are completely harmless and no need to feed these guys as they are natures own bug zappers!
